The Wolftrap White - Boekenhoutskloof

The Wolftrap White from Boekenhoutskloof, from the South African wine-growing region Coastal Region, is a fresh, clear and vibrant white wine cuvée, vinified from the grape varieties Viognier, Chenin Blanc and Grenache Blanc. 

In the glass, this wine shimmers in delicate straw yellow with bright golden highlights. The nose is indulged by an expressive bouquet of intense aromas of green apple, white peaches, yellow plum, freshly grated lemon zest and a floral hint of angelica. The abundance of fruit with yellow stone fruit and juicy pear is also present on the palate. The fresh acidity is well integrated into the medium body and supports the soft, fleshy texture. On the finish, this South African white wine presents itself as very lively and refreshing.
