Vesevo - Wines from the foot of the volcano
Vesevo is the result of the collaboration between the top winery Farnese Vini from Abruzzo and some local partners at the foot of Mount Vesus. With decades of experience in winemaking in Irpinia, Farnese decided to move to Campania in 2000 and launch wines here under the name Vesevo.

Vesevo - Farnese expertise in Campania
Vesevo is the ancient name of the volcano Vesuvius, whose dramatic eruptions in the past gave life to a special type of soil. Today, this volcanic soil is the true wealth of the region. Vesevo owns more than 60 hectares and, although it is one of the youngest companies in the region, it produces some of the best wines.
Campania is largely characterised by hills and mountains, with just 15% of the area being plains. As a result, the vineyards often have an advantageous exposure to the sun due to their hillside locations, which contributes to ideal ripeness. In Campania, the focus is still strongly on indigenous grape varieties, for example:
- Greco
- Aglianico
- Fiano
- Falanghina
The wines of Vesevo are modern and want to transport the traditional Italian viticulture of the region into the modern age. At the same time they offer a very good price-performance ratio, in order to reach also those who have not yet come into contact with wines from the area of Vesuvius and who are looking for an inexpensive but high-quality entry.

Modern technology and a lot of know-how in winemaking allow Vesevo to produce wines that are an ingenious reinterpretation of the millennia-old winemaking tradition of the region. The winemakers of Vesevo are supported by Alberto Antonini, a famous Tuscan oenologist.
With young, fresh white wines like a Falanghina up to an exclusive, more cagey red in the form of the Taurasi, Vesevo offers Campania to experience.
