Yarden Sauvignon Blanc - Golan Heights Winery

The Yarden Sauvignon Blanc from Golan Heights Winery is a varietal, accented and balanced white wine from the Golan / Galilee wine region.

This wine appears a brilliant yellow in the glass. The nose unfolds an aromatic scent of melon, lime and peach, combined with the exoticism of lychee, guava and passion fruit. Fresh mint and some flint round out the aromatics. On the palate, this white wine reveals itself to be fruity and deep with a medium body. A brilliantly fresh finish pleasantly rounds out this wine full of character.

Vinification of the Golan Heights Yarden Sauvignon Blanc

The vineyards for the Sauvignon Blanc grapes are located in the cool north of the Golan Heights.

After the grapes are harvested, they are immediately taken to the winery. There the must is fermented classically in stainless steel tanks. Only a small percentage is aged in oak barrels to give this wine complexity and volume. The remaining white wine rounds off harmoniously in stainless steel tanks.
