More information about Azagador Cosecha DOP - Pago de la Jaraba

With the Pago de la Jaraba Azagador Cosecha comes a first-class red wine in the glass. In this it shows a wonderful bright ruby color. In the glass, this red wine from Pago de la Jaraba reveals aromas of mulberries, blueberries, blackberries and black currants, complemented by oriental spices, cocoa bean and dark chocolate. The Pago de la Jaraba Azagador Cosecha presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This red wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine beyond the 4-euro mark. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly silky texture. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Azagador Cosecha presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this well storable red wine from the wine-growing region of Castile - La Mancha finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of black currant and blueberry show.

Vinification of the Pago de la Jaraba Azagador Cosecha

The basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced cuvée Azagador Cosecha of Pago de la Jaraba are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo grapes. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for Azagador Cosecha are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation.

Food recommendation for Pago de la Jaraba Azagador Cosecha

Drink this red wine from Spain ideally tempered at 15 - 18 ° C as an accompaniment to baked sheep cheese parcels, veal and onion casserole or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
