More information
The

Ben Prins from Muratie Estate reveals itself in a very dark red glass and unfolds the wonderful aromas of bitter chocolate, black cherries and roasted hazelnuts.

This port wine from South Africa delights on the palate with the notes of liquorice, clove and cinnamon. The Ben Prins harmoniously combines fruit with acid and alcohol. Pleasant tannins and a long reverberation round off this fortified wine.

Vinification of the Muratie Estate Ben Prins

This port is made from the grape varieties Tinta Barocca, Tempranillo, Tinta Roritz, Tinta Francesca and Souzao. The hang-harvested grapes are pressed, destemmed and pumped into classic fermenters. After fermentation and spraying, this South African vintage port is stored in French oak barrels for at least 2 years.

Food recommendation for the Muratie Estate Ben Prins

Enjoy this port classically as a digestif, with desserts or with game and matured cheese.
