More information about BenMarco Malbec - Susana Balbo
Susana Balbo's BenMarco Malbec from Argentina's Uco Valley wine region in Mendoza is an excellent, varietally pure and seductive red wine.
In the glass, this wine shimmers a rich purple with ruby highlights. The fruity-floral bouquet is dominated by black fruits - especially currant, blackberry and black cherries - and floral notes of violets. The palate is indulged by a balanced acidity and firm tannin structure in this Argentine red wine. The aromatic richness of the nose is also reflected and accompanies into the long lasting finish.
Vinification of the Susana Balbo BenMarco Malbec
The grapes are carefully harvested in the Uco Valley and immediately brought to Susana Balbo's winery. There, the grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and remain on the skins for 30 days. Finally, this red wine rounds off harmoniously for 12 months in French oak barriques.
Food recommendation for the Malbec Susana Balbo BenMarco
This dry red wine from Argentina is an excellent food companion to fillet of beef on mashed potatoes with crunchy green beans, spicy pasta sauces or even medium-strong cheeses.
