Bon Courage

In the Robertson Valley, 150 km from Cape Town, high quality wine has been produced since 1927 by the Bruwer family. The estate is run by father André and son Jacques, who is also the cellar master.
Both studied at the prestigious Elsenburg Agricultural School in Stellenbosch and apply this knowledge to the benefit of the region's wine.

A wide variety of soils have been washed up by three rivers that flow through the estate's lands, allowing for a high diversity of grape varieties and characteristics. Days here are long and sunny, nights cool and misty due to winds from the Indian Ocean. Low rainfall in the summer also allows the use of pesticides to be kept very low. To preserve the subtle flavors of the grapes, harvesting is done exclusively at night.
