More information about Bordeaux AOC - Château Guillon Barrau

The Bordeaux of Château Guillon Barrau from Bordeaux shows a bright, purple color in the wine glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from France presents delightfully distinguished and complex aromas of black currant, blueberry, mulberry and blackberry, rounded off by bitter chocolate, cinnamon and gingerbread spice.

This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 5.2 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Frenchman enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully velvety and dense. The balanced fruit acidity flatters the Bordeaux with a velvety mouthfeel, without at the same time lacking juicy liveliness. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally convinces with a beautiful reverberation.

Vinification of Château Guillon Barrau Bordeaux

The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Cuvée Bordeaux of Château Guillon Barrau are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive swiftly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
