Cabernet Sauvignon - Viña Los Vascos

The Cabernet Sauvignon of Viña Los Vascos from the Chilean wine-growing region Valle de Colchagua is a nuanced, velvety and varietal red wine. 

This wine shines with a brilliant ruby red color in the glass. The pleasantly fruity bouquet holds aromas of dark wild berries as well as a fine spiciness on the nose. On the palate, one senses the Cabernet Sauvignon with a velvety texture. Ripe, opulent fruit flavors of black cherries, cassis and plums make themselves felt again. The fruit is underpinned by subtle spice and chocolate. This Chilean red wine has a full body and a gentle tannic structure.

Vinification of the Viña Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon

The classic wine par excellence from the Viña Los Vascos winery made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This single varietal wine has made the winery famous. 

After gentle destemming, this wine is carefully pressed. The must ferments slowly on the skins in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation also takes place in stainless steel tanks for this Cabernet Sauvignon. Afterwards, this wine is bottled and allowed to continue aging in them for some time.

We recommend this dry red wine from Chile with duck, lamb, dark braised meat dishes, game and aged cheeses. Decant this wine for at least one hour before enjoying.
