Francis Ford Coppola's Chardonnay Gold Label Diamond Collection appears a golden yellow in the glass.

The grapes come from Monterey County from two separate vineyards. The grapes from the Aroyo Seco sites bring a fresh acidity, while the grapes from the Gabilan Mountains provide concentrated fruit flavors. The nose reveals rich aromas of yellow fruits and sweet spices. On the palate they become more precise and tangerine, sweet apples, cloves, pineapple, guava and honeysuckle can be clearly detected. The body is very concentrated and voluminous. The texture is velvety, almost creamy. The finish is long and is determined by the opulence of the fruits and spices.
