More information about Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru AOC - François Feuillet
The barrel-aged Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru from the Burgundy wine-growing region presents itself in the glass in a bright light red. With a slight tilt, the red wine glass reveals a charming garnet-red hue at the rim. When the wine glass is swirled, this red wine displays first-class balance, since it does not appear watery, syrupy, or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red wine shows wonderfully expressive aromas of blackberry and plum, rounded off by additional fruity nuances contributed by barrel aging.
The François Feuillet Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine drinker. This red wine never appears rough or lean, as one might expect from an icon wine segment. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully dense. On the finish, this matured red wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region delights with remarkable length. Once again, hints of blackberry and plum appear.
Vinification of François Feuillet’s Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru
This well-balanced red wine from France is vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru is an Old World wine in the best sense of the term, as this Frenchman exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the elegant Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru is aged for several more months in French oak barrels.
