More information about Château Hauchat Fronsac AOC - Famille Saby

With Famille Saby Château Hauchat Fronsac, a first-class red wine finds its way into the glass. It offers a wonderfully dense, purple-red color. The initial nose of Château Hauchat Fronsac flatters with nuances of sour cherries, blackberry jelly, and red currant. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by notes from barrel aging, such as additional fruity-balsamic nuances.

Famille Saby Château Hauchat Fronsac presents itself to the connoisseur pleasantly dry. This red wine never appears coarse or lean, but rather round and smooth. Powerful and multi-layered, this fleshy red wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this youthful red wine from the Bordeaux wine-growing region, more precisely from Fronsac, finally impresses with a remarkable length. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral facets from the limestone-dominated soils.

Vinification of Famille Saby Château Hauchat Fronsac

This powerful red wine from France is vinified from the Merlot grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Bordeaux. Here the vines sink their roots deep into limestone soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for 12 months in oak barriques.

Food recommendation for Famille Saby Château Hauchat Fronsac

This French red wine is best enjoyed at a tempered 15 - 18°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompanying wine with lamb ragout with chickpeas and dried figs, boiled veal with beans and tomatoes, or baked feta cheese parcels.
