It is obvious that the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge is also shaped by the climatic and stylistic factors of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. In the best sense of the word, this Frenchman can be described as an Old World wine that presents itself in an exceptionally impressive way. The berries for this red wine from France are harvested exclusively by hand once they are perfectly ripe. After the harvest, the grapes are brought immediately to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge is matured for another 36 months in oak barrels.
