More information about Côté Rosé - Domaine Lafage
The Côté Rosé from Domaine Lafage is a summery cuvée from the hand of Jean-Marc Lafage. He has composed this rosé from Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. This Lafage Rosé from the IGP Côtes Catalanes (a sub-region in Languedoc-Roussillon) is the epitome of southern French lifestyle.
This summer wine enters the glass with a charming, light raspberry pink color and spreads a delightful aroma of raspberries, strawberries, fresh peach and other summer fruits. Citrus aromas and floral nuances complement. On the palate, this French rosé is fantastically fresh, fruity and lively. Really easy to drink, this wine glides over the tongue and immediately invites a second glass. In the aftertaste delicate mineral nuances and a touch of fresh herbs.
Vinification of the Côté Rosé by Lafage
Jean-Marc Lafage of Domaine Lafage brings together the Languedoc-Roussillon grape variety classic Grenache with the international legend Cabernet Sauvignon in this wine. Vinified under the IGP Côtes Catalanes, the result is a terrific, fresh wine that was produced exclusively in steel tanks and thus comes into the glass particularly fruity.
Food recommendation for the Lafage Côté Rosé
We recommend to the Lafage Côté Rosé everything that the Mediterranean, not only on the coast of France, gives. Red mullet, sea bream, fresh scampi, calamari - the list is endless. The best thing to do is simply fill them with fresh herbs and lemon and put them on the grill. Serve with grilled vegetables or fresh salad and then the Côté Rosé from Lafage in the glass.
