More information about Horgelus Rosé Côtes de Gascogne IGP - Domaine Horgelus

The Horgelus Rosé Côtes de Gascogne from the wine-growing region of Gascony shows in the glass in brilliantly shimmering strawberry-pink. This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. For a wine in the entry level range absolutely no matter of course, so this Frenchman enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed rosé wine is wonderfully crisp and silky. The finish of this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Gascony, more precisely from Côtes de Gascogne, finally impresses with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by marl and clay.

Vinification of the Horgelus Rosé Côtes de Gascogne from Domaine Horgelus

The elegant Horgelus Rosé Côtes de Gascogne from France is a cuvée vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tannat. In Gascony, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, sand, clay and marl. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for Horgelus Rosé Côtes de Gascogne are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.

Food recommendation for the Horgelus Rosé Côtes de Gascogne from Domaine Horgelus

This French wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spicy curry with lamb, roasted trout with ginger pear or red onion stuffed with couscous and apricots.
