More information about Varietales Reserva Tinto DO - Finca La Estacada
The Varietales Reserva Tinto from Finca La Estacada is a wonderful Spanish red wine blend of Tempranillo (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), Merlot (20%) and Syrah (20%) grape varieties.
The glass shines in a dense cherry red with bright ruby reflections. The wonderfully layered and complex bouquet reveals lush notes of blackberry jam, cedar, liqueur, coffee, rosemary and eucalyptus. The aromas of the nose also present themselves on the palate and are perfectly underlined by the dense body. Soft tannins and a long finish crown this multi-faceted red wine.
Vinification of the Tinto Reserva Finca La Estacada Varietales
After harvesting the grapes for this red wine cuvée in the growing region Uclés, the grapes are selected, destemmed and the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. After the fermentation process, this red wine rounds for 18 months in American and French oak barrels (occupancy 50% each). This gives this wine its wonderful spicy aromas, velvety tannins and powerful color.
