This intensely red blend combines aromas of blackcurrant, fresh basil, ripe plums and earthy notes into a unique composition. On the palate, the wine impresses with its silky texture, long finish and elegant tannin structure.

Vinification of the Steenburg Five Lives Red Blend

This cuvée is made from Merlot (76%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (24%). After fermentation, it is aged in French oak. Before bottling, the two wines are blended into a cuvée.
