Gamla Syrah - Golan Heights Winery

The Gamla Syrah from Golan Heights Winery is an expressive, varietal and aromatic red wine from the wine-growing region of Golan / Galilee. 

This wine shows a bright ruby red in the glass. The bouquet enchants the nose with fruity aromas of ripe black cherries and juicy plums - underpinned by smoky nuances, fine spices and some anise. The full-bodied wine is also taken in by the aromas of the nose. The palate enjoys a tasty texture in this wine that accompanies into the pleasantly long finish. 

Vinification of the Golan Heights Gamla Syrah

From the vineyards in the cool Golan Heights come the grapes for this red wine. 

After the Syrah grapes are harvested, they are first gently pressed in the winery of Golan Heights Winery. The mash is then fermented in stainless steel tanks. Finally, this wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
