More information about Grand Cru Saint-Émilion AOC 1,5 l Magnum - Château La Couronne
The Grand Cru Saint-Émilion 1.5 l magnum, matured in barrel and hailing from the Bordeaux winegrowing region, presents itself in the glass in a bright purple-red. If you give it some air in the glass by swirling, you can perceive an excellent balance in this red wine, as it does not appear watery, syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red wine presents wonderfully expressive aromas of red currant, rounded off by further fruity nuances contributed by the barrel ageing.
Château La Couronne Grand Cru Saint-Émilion 1.5 l magnum delights with its elegantly dry flavor profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from an icon wine in this segment, this French wine, for all its dryness, enchants with the finest balance. Flavor does not necessarily require residual sugar. Balanced and multi-layered, this silky red wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Bordeaux winegrowing region, which has excellent ageing potential, finally impresses with considerable length. Once again, hints of red currant emerge.
