The Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Terrassen from Domäne Wachau is a varietal, well-balanced white wine from the Austrian wine-growing region Wachau in Lower Austria. 

In the glass, this wine shines with a wonderful greenish yellow. The bouquet is characterized by intense, fresh aromas of yellow apples and white pepper. There are also some exotic fruit notes and delicate herbal nuances. On the palate, the varietal fruit of the Domäne Wachau Grüner Veltliner Federspiel clearly takes center stage. Vinification of the Domäne Wachau Federspiel Terrassen Grüner Veltliner

This Grüner Veltliner is made from grapes grown on steep terraced vineyards. In mid-October, the grapes for this wine are carefully hand-harvested. In the cellar of Domäne Wachau, the harvested grapes are strictly selected and pressed. The must is pre-clarified overnight by cold sedimentation and then fermented the following day at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. Maturation takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh varietal fruit.
