Vinification of Hampton Water by Gérard Bertrand

This balanced rosé wine from France is cuvée from Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the elegant Hampton Water is aged for several months in French oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Gérard Bertrand Hampton Water

This French wine is best enjoyed very well chilled at 5 - 7°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to leek soup, coconut-lime fish curry or leek tortilla.
