More information about L‘Ostal Rosé - Domaines Cazes
L'Ostal Rosé from Domaines Cazes in Languedoc offers a bright pink color in the swirled glass. Ideally poured into a white wine glass, this Old World rosé wine reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of pineapple, lily, mango and physalis, rounded off by other fruity nuances.
This dry rosé wine from Domaines Cazes is ideal for wine connoisseurs who would prefer 0.0 grams of residual sugar in their wine. The L'Ostal Rosé already comes very close to this, as it was vinified with just 0.3 grams of residual sugar. On the tongue, this balanced rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the L'Ostal Rosé flatters with a pleasing palate feeling, without at the same time lacking in juicy liveliness. In the finish, this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of Gallia melon and lilac.
Vinification of the Domaines Cazes L'Ostal Rosé
The balanced L'Ostal Rosé from France is a cuvée vinified from the Garnacha and Syrah grape varieties. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of the fermentation, the L'Ostal Rosé is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
