More information about Madlys Bordeaux - Château Sainte Marie
In the glass, the Madlys Bordeaux from Château Sainte Marie offers a bright light-yellow color. This white wine from Château Sainte Marie shows aromas of lemons, oranges and peaches in the glass, complemented by lime. The Château Sainte Marie Madlys Bordeaux presents itself to the wine lover as wonderfully dry. This white wine never appears rough or austere, as one might expect from a wine. Balanced and multi-layered, this dense, silky and fleshy white wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Bordeaux wine-growing region finally delights with a beautiful length. Once again, hints of orange and lemon appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the clay- and limestone-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Madlys Bordeaux from Château Sainte Marie
This balanced white wine from France is made from the Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris and Semillon grape varieties. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the press house immediately. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Madlys Bordeaux can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 8 months.
