More information about Müller-Thurgau trocken 1,0 l - Weingut Kiefer
The Müller-Thurgau from the wine-growing region of Baden offers itself in the glass in brilliantly shimmering light yellow. This single-varietal German wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of pears, kumquats, apples and quinces in the glass. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
On the palate, the Müller-Thurgau from Weingut Kiefer starts out wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Müller-Thurgau flatters the palate with a pleasing feel without lacking freshness.
Vinification of the Weingut Kiefer Müller-Thurgau
The basis for the elegant Müller-Thurgau from Baden are grapes from the grape variety of the same name. In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loam and loess. After the grapes are harvested, they are immediately sent to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Müller-Thurgau can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
