More information about Pinot Noir - Résonance Vineyard
The elegant Pinot Noir from Résonance Vineyard comes into the glass with a bright light red color. Held at a slight angle, a transition of the color toward garnet red can be seen at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a first-class balance, as it neither appears watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. This varietal American wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of pomegranates and raspberries in the glass. Added to this are hints of mineral notes and vanilla.
On the palate, the Pinot Noir from Résonance Vineyard starts off pleasantly dry, firm and aromatic. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this matured wine from the Oregon winegrowing region finally delights with considerable length. Once again, hints of pomegranate and raspberry appear.
Vinification of the Résonance Vineyard Pinot Noir
The basis for the balanced Pinot Noir from the USA is grapes from the Pinot Noir variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
