More information about Pinot Noir Rosé La Petite Perrière - Saget La Perriere

In the glass, Pinot Noir Rosé La Petite Perrière from the house of Saget La Perriere presents a bright light red color. This varietal French wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of roses, acacia, and raspberries in the glass. Nuances of minerals are also present.

Saget La Perriere Pinot Noir Rosé La Petite Perrière captivates with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and, despite all its dryness, delights with the finest balance. Flavor simply does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully silky and fleshy. On the finish, this red wine from the Val de Loire wine-growing region impresses with beautiful length. Once again, hints of raspberry and acacia emerge. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils join in.

Vinification of Pinot Noir Rosé La Petite Perrière by Saget La Perriere

This red wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Pinot Noir. Only first-class harvested material was used for this exceptionally well-balanced varietal wine from Saget La Perriere. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Val de Loire. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation ends, Pinot Noir Rosé La Petite Perrière can further harmonize for several months on the fine lees.

Food recommendation for Pinot Noir Rosé La Petite Perrière by Saget La Perriere

Ideally, enjoy this red wine from France, served at 15–18°C, as an accompanying wine to braised chicken in red wine, boiled veal brisket with beans and tomatoes, or Boeuf Bourguignon.
