Vinification of the Pomerol from Château La Grave
The balanced Pomerol from France is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc and Merlot. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and gravel soils. The Pomerol is a thoroughbred Old World wine, as this Frenchman exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underlines the success of Old World wines. The grapes for this red wine from France are harvested exclusively by hand once optimal ripeness has been ensured. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There, they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
