More information about Riesling - Blanck Paul
In the glass, the Riesling from the hand of Blanck Paul shows a bright pale yellow color. This single-varietal French wine flatters the nose in the glass with wonderfully distinguished and complex notes of oranges, grapefruits, acacia and lemons. Hints of further fruits are also present.
The Blanck Paul Riesling presents itself to the wine drinker pleasantly dry. This white wine never appears rough or austere, but rather round and smooth. Balanced and multi-layered, this light and crisp white wine shows itself on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Alsace wine-growing region delights with beautiful length. Once again, nuances of orange and acacia appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the sand- and gravel-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Riesling from Blanck Paul
This white wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Riesling. Only the best grape material was used for this exceptionally well-balanced single-varietal wine from Blanck Paul. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Alsace. Here the vines sink their roots deep into soils of sand and gravel. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery without delay. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
Food recommendation for Blanck Paul Riesling
