More information about Gewurztraminer - Blanck Paul

In the glass, the Gewurztraminer from the house of Blanck Paul offers a dense copper-golden color. In the glass, this white wine from Blanck Paul reveals aromas of acacia, complemented by honey. This French wine delights with its straightforward, dry flavor profile. It was bottled with an exceptionally low residual sugar content. As you would expect from a wine, this Frenchman naturally enchants, despite all its dryness, with the finest balance. Flavor does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful white wine presents itself as wonderfully silky, velvety, creamy, and dense. The finish of this white wine from the Alsace wine-growing region is ultimately marked by a lovely aftertaste. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral notes from the sand- and gravel-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Gewurztraminer from Blanck Paul

This powerful white wine from France is vinified from the Gewürztraminer grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Alsace. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of sand and gravel. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house without delay. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for Blanck Paul Gewurztraminer

This white wine from France is best enjoyed well chilled at 8–10°C. It is perfectly suited as an accompanying wine to vegetable stew with pesto, asparagus salad with quinoa, or stuffed cabbage rolls.
