More information about Gewurztraminer - Salizzoni
The Gewurztraminer from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in a bright copper gold. This varietal Italian wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of roses, lemons and acacia in the glass. There are also hints of other fruits.
This wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and thus, despite all its dryness, this Italian delights with the finest balance. Excellent flavor does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully silky, velvety, creamy and dense. The finish of this white wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region, more precisely from Trentino DOC, is ultimately distinguished by a beautiful aftertaste.
Vinification of the Gewurztraminer from Salizzoni
The basis for the well-balanced Gewurztraminer from Trentino-Alto Adige is grapes from the Gewürztraminer variety. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees before it is finally drawn off.
