Vinification of the Rosé Spumante from Weingut Krug

The elegant rosé spumante from Austria is a varietal wine made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The rosé spumante is an Old World wine through and through, as this Austrian exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. An undeniable influence on the ripening of the grapes is also the fact that the Pinot Noir grapes thrive under the influence of a rather cool climate. This is expressed, among other things, in particularly long and evenly ripened grapes and a rather moderate alcohol content in the wine. After the manual harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines.
