More information about Spätburgunder Rosé trocken 1,0 l - Weingut Kiefer

The Pinot Noir Rosé from the wine-growing region of Baden shows a brilliant shimmering color in the glass. The Weingut Kiefer Pinot Noir Rosé inspires with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with only 4.7 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the upper price range, this German wine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Pinot Noir Rosé reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate.

Vinification of the Weingut Kiefer Pinot Noir Rosé

The elegant Pinot Noir Rosé from Germany is a single-varietal wine made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loess and volcanic rock. After manual harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Pinot Noir Rosé can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

Food recommendation for the Pinot Noir Rosé from Weingut Kiefer

This German wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to omelet with salmon and fennel, vegetable salad with beetroot or pasta with sausage dumplings.
