More information about Tutti Frutti Rouge - Arrogant Frog
In the glass, Tutti Frutti Rouge from the house of Arrogant Frog offers a bright purplish-red color. At the rim there is also a color transition into violet. The first nose of Tutti Frutti Rouge shows notes of morello cherries, mulberries and blueberries. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by vanilla, cocoa bean and dark chocolate.
This French wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor profile and was bottled with only 1.9 grams of residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and thus, despite all its dryness, this Frenchman enchants with the finest balance. Flavor does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully dense. Thanks to its balanced acidity, Tutti Frutti Rouge caresses the palate with a pleasing mouthfeel, without lacking in freshness at the same time. On the finish, this age-worthy red wine from the Languedoc wine-growing region finally impresses with remarkable length. Once again, hints of mulberry and morello cherry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the clay- and limestone-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of Tutti Frutti Rouge by Arrogant Frog
This well-balanced red wine from France is vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Merlot, Mourvèdre and Syrah. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Languedoc. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of clay, limestone and gravel. Tutti Frutti Rouge is an Old World wine through and through, as this Frenchman exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and concrete at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures on the fine lees for several months before it is finally bottled.
