With the Edetaria Via Edetana Blanco comes a first-class white wine in the glass. In this it presents a wonderfully bright, golden yellow color. Ideally poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World offers wonderfully expressive aromas of orange, Gallia melon, lime and mango, rounded off by other fruity nuances contributed by the barrel aging.
This dry white wine from Edetaria is perfect for wine lovers who like it absolutely dry. The Via Edetana Blanco is already very close to this, as it was pressed with just 2.5 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp and dense. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Via Edetana Blanco flatters the palate with a velvety feel, without lacking freshness at the same time. In the finish, this storable white wine from the wine-growing region of Catalonia finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of mango and physalis appear.
Vinification of the Via Edetana Blanco from Edetaria
This balanced white wine from Spain is made from Barbera, Garnacha and Viognier grapes. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for Via Edetana Blanco are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately sent to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a maturation of 4 months in French oak barrels.
