Vinification of the Miguel Torres Vina Esmeralda Rosado
The elegant Vina Esmeralda Rosado from Spain is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Cariñena, Grenache Blanc, Shiraz and Tempranillo. In Catalonia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, sand and limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
