Langenlois - Home of the Winery Bründlmayer

The Bründlmayer im winery is located in Langenlois, 70 km northwest of Vienna, up the Danube in Lower Austria's Kamptal Valley. The Bründlmayer family produces wine on about 80 hectares of vineyards - mostly planted in terraces on dry, mostly stony soils that yield little, but all the more high quality.

The vineyards as capital

The wooded hills of the Waldviertel protect the vineyards from icy northwesterly winds. During the day, the sun heats the stony terraces; at night, the fresh, spicy forest air seeps through the Kamptal into the Langenlois arena. The coincidence of hot days and cool nights, the union of the Danube and Kamptal valleys, the geological and climatic diversity of the sites, and finally the craftsmanship characterize Bründlmayer's award-winning wines.
