More information about Weißburgunder - Salzl Seewinkelhof

With the Salzl Seewinkelhof Pinot Blanc comes a first-class white wine in the glass. In this it presents a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. To the nose, this Salzl Seewinkelhof white wine reveals all sorts of vineyard peaches, mirabelles, lemongrass, nectarines and limes. As if that weren't already impressive, forest floor, Mediterranean herbs and sun-warmed rocks join in due to the aging in stainless steel.

The Salzl Seewinkelhof Pinot Blanc presents itself to the wine enthusiast wonderfully dry. This white wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly melting and light texture. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Pinot Blanc flatters the palate with a pleasing feel, without lacking freshness. In the finish, this youthful from the wine region of Burgenland finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of pomelo and pink grapefruit show up. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by black earth and gravel join in.

Vinification of the Salzl Seewinkelhof Pinot Blanc

The basis for the balanced Pinot Blanc from Burgenland are grapes from the grape variety Pinot Blanc. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgenland. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, gravel, volcanic rock and black earth. After harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for the Salzl Seewinkelhof Pinot Blanc

Enjoy this white wine from Austria best well chilled at 8 - 10°C as a companion to fruity endive salad, asparagus salad with quinoa or roasted trout with ginger pear.
