The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Rioja. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into limestone soils. The grapes for this red wine from Spain are harvested exclusively by hand at optimal ripeness. After hand-picking, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house, where they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden vats and stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months in oak barrels.
