Aromas
Plum , red currant and toasted wood

🍷 The Castel Giocondo Ripe al Convento Brunello di Montalcino Riserva from Frescobaldi impresses with its full-bodied and elegant style, supported by a 36-month aging in French oak barrels.

🍝 This exquisite wine pairs excellently with grilled beef or a hearty wild boar ragout, which wonderfully brings out its complex aromas.

🌍 The Sangiovese grapes come from sun-drenched vineyards in Tuscany, giving this Brunello its unique depth and character.

More information about Black - Barista

The Black of Barista of the Western Cape offers in the wine glass a dense purple color. The nose of this Barista red wine presents all sorts of plums and red currant. As if that were not already impressive, the aging in large wooden barrels adds further aromas such as toasted wood.

The Barista Black presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. This creamy red wine presents itself full-bodied and complex on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of the Western Cape finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of plum and red currant show.

Vinification of the Barista Black

The powerful Black from South Africa is a single-varietal wine, made from the Pinotage grape variety. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months in oak barriques.

Food recommendation for Barista Black

This red wine from South Africa is best enjoyed at a temperate temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as a companion to veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes, duck breast with sugar snap peas or braised chicken in red wine.
