Vinification of Champagne Brut Réserve by Champagne Taittinger
The elegant Champagne Brut Réserve from France is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Brut Réserve is an Old World wine through and through, as this French Champagne exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. At optimal ripeness, the grapes for Brut Réserve are harvested exclusively by hand, without the use of coarse, low-selective mechanical harvesters. After handpicking, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently pressed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines. After blending the final Champagne, further maturation takes place in the bottle. Champagne Taittinger Champagne Brut Réserve then ages for several months in the bottle before finally being disgorged.
