More information about Cap Classique Brut Rosé - Graham Beck
The Brut Rosé from Graham Beck Wines sparkles in the glass in a delicate pink with silver reflections. Its bouquet enchants with the wonderful aromas of red berries and cherries.
This South African sparkling wine is very creamy on the palate with an animating juiciness and a lively perlage. The berry flavors are enlivened by the fine acidity and carry into an elegant finish.
"This wine is a consummate all-rounder. Certainly elegant and refined, yet exuberant and racy ", says Pieter Ferreira, cellar master of Graham Beck.
Vinification of the Brut Rosé from Graham Beck Wines
The Brut Rosé is produced according to the Cap Classique method. This term established itself in South Africa in 1992 to designate local sparkling wines produced according to the Champagne method, since the name Champagne is protected and can only be used for sparkling wines from Champagne.
The grapes of the two grape varieties used, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, were hand-picked and fermented individually. This is followed by topping up with reserve wine, bottling and the yeast contact period of 15 months before disgorgement.
A special enzymatic reaction during the transport of the Pinot Noir grapes leads to its magnificent silver-pink color.
