More information about Cabernet Sauvignon - Princic
With the Princic Cabernet Sauvignon, a first-class red wine makes its way into the swirled glass. There it offers a wonderfully bright, purple-red color. The first nose of the Cabernet Sauvignon shows notes of blackberry jelly. Joining the fruity components of the bouquet are notes from barrel aging, along with more fruity-balsamic nuances.
On the palate, Princic’s Cabernet Sauvignon opens pleasantly dry, firm, and aromatic. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an immensely powerful and dense texture. The finish of this red wine from Slovenia, more precisely from Brda, ultimately convinces with a beautiful aftertaste. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral notes from the sandstone-dominated soils.
Vinification of Princic Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine clearly places its focus on a single grape variety, namely Cabernet Sauvignon. Only first-class grape material was used for this exceptionally well-balanced varietal wine from Princic. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Slovenia. Here the vines sink their roots deep into sandstone soils. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wooden casks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally drawn off.
