The Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve of Domaine Bousquet from the Argentine wine-growing region Tupungato in Mendoza is a varietally pure and well-aged red wine vinified from organically grown Cabernet grapes.
In the glass, this wine comes with a beautiful purple color and ruby hues. The nose delights with aromas of ripe blackberries and blueberries, complemented by notes of dark chocolate, cigar box, light tobacco, coffee and the characteristic fine minerality of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
The palate of this Bousquet Reserve is also dominated by spicy, juicy berry fruit. All in all, the fruitiness blends with the well-structured, harmoniously integrated tannins. On the finish, this red wine from Argentina is silky and beautifully balanced.
Vinification of the Bousquet Tupungato Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
This reserve wine is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by 5% Malbec. The wine is aged in French oak for 10 months after fermentation, followed by further bottle aging of at least 4 months.
