Vinification of Domaine Achard-Vincent Clairette De Die Tradition
The elegant Clairette De Die Tradition from France is a cuvée, organically produced from the grape varieties Clairette and Yellow Muscat. In the Rhône Valley, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils. It is obvious that Clairette De Die Tradition is also shaped by the climatic and stylistic factors of Cairanne. This French wine can literally be described as an Old World wine, presenting itself as exceptionally distinguished and complex. The development of the grapes for this wine from Clairette and Yellow Muscat is influenced to a not inconsiderable extent by the climate of the growing region. In the Rhône Valley, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and evenly ripening grapes and a rather moderate must weight. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines.
