Vinification of the No.1 Cuveé Speciale Promo from Istenic

The balanced No.1 Cuveé Speciale Promo from Slovenia is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Rumeni Plavec, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Posavje. Here the vines sink their roots deep into limestone soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation of the base wines then follows. After the cuvée has been assembled, further maturation takes place based on the Méthode Traditionelle. The Istenic No.1 Cuveé Speciale Promo then ages for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
