More information about GB Rosé Spätburgunder - Georg Breuer

Georg Breuer's GB Rosé Pinot Noir from the Rheingau region presents a brilliant, soft rosé color in the wine glass. This single-varietal German wine flatters in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of violets, rose and lavender. These are joined by hints of forest floor and sun-warmed rock.

On the palate, the GB Rosé Pinot Noir from Georg Breuer starts pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. Light-footed and multifaceted, this crisp rosé wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of the Rheingau finally inspires with beautiful length. Once again, hints of rose and lilac appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and slate are added.

Vinification of the GB Rosé Pinot Noir by Georg Breuer

This rosé wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Pinot Noir. For this wonderfully elegant single-varietal wine from Georg Breuer, only the best grape material was brought in. In the Rheingau, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and slate. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully milled. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the GB Rosé Pinot Noir can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months...

Food recommendation for the Georg Breuer GB Rosé Pinot Noir

Enjoy this rosé wine from Germany best well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to spinach gratin with almonds, spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto or chickpea curry.
