Vinification of the Gemischter Satz from Weingut Krug

This well-balanced white wine from Austria is made from the grape varieties Welschriesling (Riesling Italico, Olaszrizling), Grüner Veltliner and Sauvignon Blanc. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Following fermentation, the wine is matured for several months on the fine lees before it is finally racked off.
