With the Vesselle Georges Grand Cru Brut 1.5 l Magnum, a first-class champagne finds its way into the gently swirled glass. It reveals a wonderfully bright, light red color. The perlage of this sparkling wine shines in the glass as exceedingly fine, elegant and long-lasting. When the wine glass is swirled, one can perceive an unparalleled balance in this sparkling wine, since it does not appear watery, syrupy or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. Poured into a sparkling wine glass, this Old World sparkling wine presents delightfully classy and complex aromas of ripe apple and raspberry, rounded off by mineral notes.
Balanced and multi-layered, this crisp, creamy and light champagne presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the Champagne wine-growing region finally delights with a beautiful length. Nuances of raspberry and ripe apple appear again. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Grand Cru Brut 1.5 l Magnum by Vesselle Georges
This well-balanced champagne from France is vinified from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Champagne. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. Quite clearly, the Grand Cru Brut 1.5 l Magnum is shaped by more than just the soil of Champagne. This French wine can literally be described as an Old World wine that presents itself as exceptionally classy and complex. A not-to-be-underestimated influence on the ripening of the harvest also comes from the fact that the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes thrive under the influence of a rather cool climate. This manifests itself, among other things, in particularly long and evenly ripening grapes and a rather moderate alcohol content in the wine. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines. After the composition of the final champagne, further maturation follows on the basis of the Méthode Champenoise. Subsequently, the Vesselle Georges Grand Cru Brut 1.5 l Magnum matures for several months in the bottle and is then disgorged.
