More information about Le Penchant IGP - Calmel & Joseph

In the glass, the organically produced Le Penchant of Calmel & Joseph presents a bright golden yellow color. The nose of this white wine from Languedoc charms with notes of peach, orange blossom, cherry blossom and guava. If we trace the aromatics further, vanilla, sun-warmed rock and cocoa bean join in.

The Calmel & Joseph Le Penchant presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine enthusiast. This white wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp. Due to its concise fruit acidity, Le Penchant is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally captivates with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and sand.

Vinification of the Calmel & Joseph Le Penchant

This balanced white wine from France is organically vinified from the Roussanne grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in the Languedoc. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sand, limestone and clay. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in controlled temperatures. At its end .
