Légende R Rouge Bordeaux - Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite)

The Légende R Rouge from Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) is an impressive, elegant and expressive red wine cuvée from the French wine-growing region of Bordeaux, vinified from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties. 

In the glass, this wine shimmers in a deep ruby red with crimson highlights. The elegant bouquet smells of ripe berries - especially red currant and raspberry) and is surrounded by a subtle oak note. The round body on the palate of this French red wine is compelling with firm, silky tannins and a wonderful fresh, fruity personality. The fullness of fruit is also present in the long finish. 

Vinification of the Légende R Rouge

After the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes are harvested, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite). The berries are first fermented in stainless steel tanks. Once the fermentation process is completed, this red wine is aged for 9 months in stainless steel tanks (60%) as well as in oak barrels (40%).
